U.S. Navy Heated Flight Suit by Colvinex

Brown leather overall or coverall flight suit with brown sheepskin collar, long central Talon zip closure with zips also down each leg . It features a 24-volt heating system, full lining in cream cotton , one front chest insignia holder, two leg cargo pockets, pass through pocket slit with Talon zip-shut openings, leather waist belt, leather snap-shut boot strap holders, leather glove holder straps, leather neck straps to reduce air intrusion, leather garment hanger, original manufacturer label, and inside suspenders to keep suit from sagging during wear. Zips have leather strips as pulls.

Together with 65 members of the Royal Flying Corps Wireless Operator's Association who were trained at the Poly during the Great War, and who visited the Poly on 14th May 1935.
Major Kennedy stated that it was a great delight for those present to renew their twenty years link with the Poly which was quite different from any other sort of institution and in which friendliness and service to one's fellow man were the dominant features.
