A poster made in response to the 7.8 earthquake in Tangshan. A worker, peasants, PLA soldiers, a barefoot doctor all march in unison, carrying shovels and tools. In the background, trucks, trains, ships, planes and helicopters similarly move towards the (unseen) sight of the disaster. One man carries a document saying ‘CPC condolences to the people of the earthquake-stricken area’ (中共中央给地震灾区人民的慰问电).
