Canvas Rucksack with Metal Frame and Great Britain Badge

Green canvas cotton rucksack or backpack with cream cotton webbing straps and fastenings and a green metal frame which can be unfastened from the bag. Glued onto the top of the bag is a black shield shaped badge with two Union Jack flags crossed over 'GREAT BRITAIN' in gold thread and bordered in gold thread. Printed on the inside of one strap is 'CA333'. It has one large pocket across the front with two pouched pockets on each side. The pockets close with cotton webbing straps and metal fasteners. The bag closes with a heavy cream cotton cord drawstring and a flap which fastens with two straps. Inside the top flap is a lining of blue plastic and a zipped pocket - the zip is 'Lightening / MADE IN FRANCE'. Leather section which the back straps thread through to attach the metal frame has torn away from the bag.

Liam Hodges Leather Backpack and Harness

Thick black leather rectangular shaped bag attached to a harness with back straps. It has four extra cartridge and pocket attachments, one can be detatched. The main bag and one of the attached pockets have metal badges (similar to horse brasses) attached. One has the design of a silhoutted horses head, the other a pint of beer.

Adam Marc James Cushion Bag with Tassels

Bag in the form of a pillow or cushion embellished with machine embroidery. It has a brass coloured metal handle and tassels from each corner. Part of look 5 outfit from James's graduate collection.

James made this scatter cushion from waterproofed canvas weave nylon in forest green donated to him by Barghaus from their bags department. The nylon was embroidered with multi tone gold thread, isolating some of the hand drawn camouflage work on the jacket. The bag defies function as an object to carry something, despite having a big brass handle. It is piped with fully reflective piping. It is finished at each of it’s four corners with a selection of handmade nylon tassels made from the offcuts of the collection fabrics.

Meadham Kirchhoff Rubber Drawstring Bag with Tortoise Applique

Grey beige rubber drawstring bag with grey cord and felt tortoise hand stitched applique. The tortoise is has a red and pink hat with a navy flower coming out of it. It's shell is pink, green and navy and it has a dark blue satin stitch spiralled tail. There is a yellow and red flower in it's mouth and there are decorative stars and spots in the background. The design has been applied with hand stitching using a whip stitch and is repeated on the back of the bag. The bag's seams are glued together. Made in England.
