Commemorative coins for Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee

Threepence, Sixpence and Shilling.
The threepence coin features the 'Bun Head' - portrait of the Queen with head shown coiled in a bun which was in circulation from 1860. The shilling and the sixpence feature the new portrait which depicted the Queen as older, with a small crown on her head, known as the 'Jubilee Head'. The sixpence has been decorated with an enamelled Royal coat of arms. Boxed.

British Games souvenir programme

Souvenir programme with colour printed cover for the Coronation Meeting at the White City Stadium, organised by the News of the World. Includes photographs of competitors in previous competitions, going back to the 1936 Olympics, list of competitors for each race and a timetable. there are also advertisements for Horlicks, the Royal Free Hospital and the 'Our Royal Heritage' cinema entertainment.

Covering letter from News of The World on headed paper enclosing three copies of the souvenir programme that were left over after the Games.
